Youth Sport Foyle

Annual Report 2008 – 2009

Youth Sport Foyle was created as a means of contributing to peace and

reconciliation in Ireland by removing existing religious and other barriers to young

people’s participation in sport. The project aims to create an environment in which

every young person can participate in the sport of his or her choice irrespective of

age, ability, disability, race, gender, religion or economic circumstance. The project

was concentrated on four border areas, Donegal, Tyrone, Derry and Fermanagh.
