(23rd April 12) Is being held on the 25th May 2012, at the Oriel House Hotel, Ballincollig, Co. Cork.
The Summit is being organised by SpóirtFest, a non-profit, volunteer led group, who wish to create positive outlets for the Irish Sporting community, through our sports festival and the Summit.

The Summit, to be opened by Minister for Agriculture, Food and Marine, Simon Coveney TD, will focus on the funding and economic issues afflicting all throughout the Irish sporting world, but in particular will identify and discuss paths towards sustainability and growth. It is a must attend event for all who have financial responsibilities in sport or rely on it for their livelihood, from small local Clubs to big international brands.

It is a real sporting good news story. The goodwill in evidence so far gives great testimony to the fact the sporting community are willing to work together through these difficult times. Any monies raised from the Summit will go towards the operation of SpóirtFest II (festival), taking place from the 24-26th August, carrying on the success of the first festival in 2011, which featured over 15 sports.

SUMMERY: The Irish Sports Summit will take place on the 25th of May 2012, in Ballincollig Co. Cork, and the stellar line up of Speakers will focus on ways to deliver sustainability and growth throughout the sporting environment on the island of Ireland. It is a key event for all sport clubs and organisations.
